Which strategies did the most active Members of Parliament use? How did the right-conservative Belgian party “Le Vlaams Belang” win the elections on facebook? What we can learn for the future will be presented by lead speaker Nicolas Baygert, head of the Brussels-based Protagoras thinktank (IHECS) and political communication lecturer (Brussels School of International Studies, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Sciences Po Paris) and scholars from Brussels School of International Studies.
Are you a communicator and wonder, how to refine your social media strategy after the elections or in general? Marcel Weyrich, founder of Brains of Social Media, will give you a mini guide on how to formulate any social media strategy and avoid mistakes right away.
I can’t be there physically. Where else can I find the info?
We will do our best to live-stream the event. Register for a “live-stream” ticket so we can send you the link.
Will there be free beverages?
An event in Brussels and no free drinks – how could we dare?! So of course, you can enjoy the talks over a nice glass of wine (or a non-alcoholic alternative).
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Impact Media photo and video studio is just a 2 minutes walk away from Place Flagey. There are no specific parking lots available. However, you can park on the street and the bus and tram stop Levure (bus 59 / tram 97) is right in front of the studio.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No – even just your name is okay, but you need to register as seats/space are somehow limited.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Feel free to ask any question – just use our social media channels – we respond very quickly.
The event is a cooperation between Brains of Social Media and Brussels School of Intenational Studies. The event space is sponsored by Impact Media, Brussels new photo and video production and consulting company with a fully equipped event studio right around the corner of Place Flagey. The event is supported by the Brussels-based Protagoras thinktank (IHECS).
